Ueshiba Sensei built a
small dojo in his own house in Shirataki and received Sokaku classes and in December 1919, left shiritaki abruptly after receiving a
telegram announcing the death of his father.
Sokaku will propose to Ueshiba to become his successor (unpublished interview of S. Pranin).

diploma (Takeda Sokaku never studied Yagyu Shinkage Ryu) , but a document referring to the Yagyu shinkage ryu , including
passages from Heiho Kadensho : Shinrikyo first chapter (Shoe Offering Bridge) , the famous work written by Yagyu Munenori,
the son of Yagyu Muneyoshi.
